Matt Ryan, the QB of the NFL team Atlanta Flacons got a right ankle injury in the team’s 37-10 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Matt Ryan, before his injury, had completed 16 of his 27 passes for 159 passing yards. His injury came in the 4th quarter of the game following a sack from the Rams’ defensive tackle Aaron Donald and he fumbled.
Matt Ryan hobbled back to the locker room and was then ruled out of the game for the remainder.
This is the first time this season for Ryan, who has started 153 games in a row for the Falcons, to not have passed the mark of 300 yards.
For the Falcons, who are 1-6 on the season, they lost their 6th game in a row with their last win being against Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.
As for the excepted time for which the QB will not be playing for the team, it is still to be confirmed by the team officials.
On his return, Todd Gurley of Rams caught a TD pass as the defense of Rams dominated in the easy road victory.
LA Rams are going to stay in Atlanta for their practice at Georgia Tech for the few days before they make a flight to London to have a Sunday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
As for the Falcons, they will be playing against the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday for a home game.
