Montpellier Open; Jo-Wilfried Tsonga wins ATP Tour title

On Sunday, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga managed to win the Montpellier Open title after he defeated his opponent the Frenchman Pierre Hughes Herbert by 6-4 and 6-2.

This was Jo-Wilfried Tsongas’s first ATP tour in the last 15 months. In the last season, he lost the event in the semifinal and missed seventh months due to an injury. Due to his long absence from Tour, Tsonga was ranked world no. 210 as he was heading into this week’s tournament.
