Montrezl Harrell scores 30 to lead Clippers beat Grizzlies by 112-106

Danilo Gallinari went on for a scoring spree halfway through the fourth quarter of LA Clippers’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies as Clipper held on to their last spot of the playoffs for the Western Conference.

Gallinari scored 23 points which include his 10 straight points in the fourth quarter while Montrezl Harrell matched his career high 30 points to lead the Clipper win over the Grizzlies by 112-106.

Gallinari said of his sudden scoring burst, “I was just reading the defense. My team needed to be aggressive. I was only trying to control the game on both offensive and defensive end.”

Lou Williams with his 6 for 15 finished the night with 18 points.

Clippers coach Doc Rivers said, “Harrell and Lou had the pick and roll going for the team.”

With this victory, Clippers are now at the eighth and last spot in the Western Conference, currently two games up the Sacramento Kings.

As for Memphis Grizzlies they were led by Mike Conley who scored 25 points while Joakim Noah added in his 22 points for the team who have now lost their 3rd straight game. Avery Bradley added in his 17 points for the Grizzlies.

Up next, LA Clippers will play against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday while Memphis Grizzlies will play against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night.
