Johanna Konta in her match against the Romanian player Ana Bogdan made a superb comeback to win her place into the last 8 of the Morocco Open.
Kota who was looking at an easy victory with a 4-1 lead was pushed to limits when Bogdan raised the level of her game to win the second set tie-break.
However, the veteran of the fame, Konta managed to regain her dominance over Bogdan as she won her over by 6-1, 6-7 and 6-2 to make it into the second quarterfinals of her season.
As for the men’s singles at Munich Open, the two-time defending champion of the event extended his win streak at the event by 9 matches after he won over the Argentinean player Juan Ignacio Londero by 7-5 and 6-1.
The match was closed very quickly in nearly 64 minutes for the German to book his next match against Cristian Garin. Grin made it to the quarterfinals after defeating the 6th seeded Diego Schwartzman by 6-1 and 7-5.
