Nets beat Mavericks by 127-88 to end three-game skid

Nets were in desperate need for a win and they managed to get it in Brooklyn nonetheless.

DeMarre Carroll scored 22 points to lead the team while Rodions Kurucs scored 19 points as the Brooklyn Nets won over the Dallas Mavericks by 127-88 on Monday night and ended their three-game losing streak.

As for the bench of Nets, Caris LeVert scored 18 points while Spencer Dinwiddie added in his 16 points for the team. This 39 point margin win was the biggest for the Nets since they moved from New Jersey back in 2012.

Brooklyn guard D’Angelo Russell said, “This was definitely the game for us to build off of. Coming into this game, we knew that we have to get it.”

As for Dallas Mavericks, they were led by Dwight Powell who scored 20 points while Luka Doncic scored 16 points. With this loss, Mavericks have now lost 7 of their last 8 games. Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said, “It was ugly for us from start to finish. When a team loses every quarter in an NBA game, then you certainly have not done everything that was needed. This was a very disappointing night for us.”

Up next, Dallas Mavericks will be visiting Washington for a game against Washington Wizards on Wednesday night. As for Brooklyn Nets, they will be hosting a game for the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
