NASC has passed its ruling and now both McGregor and Nurmagomedov have officially been suspended temporarily from the UFC following their post-fight brawl at the UFC Lightweight fight in Las Vegas.
The ban was sanctioned by NASC until the investigation is completed.
Russian fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov started the melee after winning his fight by jumping out of the octagon fence at the UFC 229.
McGregor who has been suspended on his medical grounds also started to fight people from Khabib’s camp as the brawl broke out.
NASC released a statement that states, “Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov are suspended temporarily effective from October 15th, 2018. The commission is going to hold a meeting on October 254th, 2018 where the organization chairmen and commissioners are going to vote if the suspension is extended or not”.
In this coming meeting, Commission is also going to decide as to whether they are going to withheld Nurmagomdov’s two m million dollars prize money or not.
