New England Patriots 33-0 New York Jets; Sony Michel marks career best in Pats dominant win

The game of NFL between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets ended with a dominant shutout victory of 33-0 for the Patriots. Sony Michael of the New England Patriots was the star of the team as he displayed his best performance of the career with his 3 rushing TDs. This win helps the New England Patriots to maintain their unbeaten start of the NFL season.

The defense of the New England Patriots was able to have 6 forced turnovers along with their QB Tom Brady completing 31 of his 45 passes for 249 passing yards along with 1 TD.

After that Phillip Dorsett II caught a TD pass to total the score for the New England Patriots to be 223 yards. With this, New England Patriots are 7-0 on the season and they are only other teams after San Francisco 49ers to have an unbeaten start of the season.

Stephan Gilmore, Terrence Brooks, Duron Harmon, and Devin McCourty all made interceptions to increase the NBFL leading count for the team to be 18.

As for the New York Jets’ QB, Sam Darnold, he completed 11 of his 32 passes for a mere 86 passing yards. He also suffered 5 turnovers which include his career-worst of 4 interceptions with Jets.  Jets with this defeat are now 1-5 on the season.

This shutout win for Patriots is their 2nd of this NFL season, which so far in the season, have outscored their opponents by 223-48 points.

The New England Patriots opened this game with their 16-play and 78 yards drive which only took them 8 minutes and 47 seconds. As for the final score of the game, it was scored by Sony Michael from the yard out to make it 33-0 with only 12 minutes to the game. The game thus ended with the dominant win for the New England Patriots.
