New Orleans Saints 30-20 Minnesota Vikings; Saints got the revenge for last year’s playoff loss

The New Orleans Saint managed to take the revenge for their last season’s second playoff’s defeat from Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night football. New Orleans Saints defeated Minnesota Viking by 30-20 on Sunday night football.

Vikings were on the lead of 13-7 in the second quarter after Kirk Cousins made TD pass to Stefon Diggs and were also able to outgain Saints 423 yards to 270 yards. However, two key turning points which include a 45 yard interception for a TD made by P.J. Williams of the New Orleans secure the Saints’ win.

Drew Brees quarterback of Saints had a silent night by his standards and only managed to throw 120 yards.

New Orleans Saints with this recent win are now 6-1 with six straight victories. On the other hand, Minnesota Vikings are at 4-3-1 with their first loss for the season.

FIRST QUARTER

Saints 7-0 Vikings: Drew Brees made a three-yard touchdown pass to Alvin Kamara.

Saints 7-7 Vikings: Kirk Cousins made a one-yard touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs.

SECOND QUARTER

Saints 7-13 Vikings:  Latavius Murray made a 1 yard touchdown run.

Saints 10-13 Vikings: Lutz made a 52-yard field goal.

Saints 17-13 Vikings: Kamara made a one-yard touchdown run.

THIRD QUARTER

Saints 20-13 Vikings: Lutz made a 42-yard field goal.

Saints 27-13 Vikings: P.J. Williams made a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown.

FOURTH QUARTER

Saints 30-13 Vikings: Lutz made a 42-yard field goal.

Saints 30-20 Vikings: Cousins made a one-yard touchdown pass to Adam Thielen.
