New Orleans Saints have signed veteran receiver Brandon Marshall

Sean Payton; head coach of New Orleans Saints announced on Tuesday morning that the team has signed the veteran wide receiver of NFL; Brandon Marshal. Marshal has been signed in wake of Saints’ Dez Bryant’s injury.

With Marshal Inclusion in Saints, the team’s offense which is already seeing a lead in NFL with 36.7 points scored per game and is ranked in top five teams this season with 419 yards per game is going to be only strengthened.

Payton following this signing said to media, “he moved around well. He is smart and experienced. He had a good workout pre season and he’s got good height and size. He is another big target.”

Marshall already participated in the first practice of the Saints.

Dez Bryant was signed by Saints last week but he never got to play a single game with the team due to his ACL tear in second practice.

Marshall was released by Seattle Seahawks back on 30th October after playing for the first seven games with Seahawks this season. He caught 11 passing catches for 136 yards along with making 1 TD.

Marshall is hoping to make a comeback this season after dealing with his ankle and toe surgery from last season that caused him to miss most of it.
