Julian Edelman, the Super Bowl MVP was in Boston on Tuesday night for the Bruins VS Toronto Maple Leafs Game 7 showdown.
It sure seemed that the wide receiver of the New England Patriots was having himself some fun at the Madison Square Garden.
Edelman, who has been seen as becoming one of the biggest fans of the Boston sports teams, has been seen a lot at their Bruins, Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics games for the past few years.
On Tuesday night, he went out of his way to show his support to the Boston teams.
He started his night by waiving the Boston Bruins banners with the Bruins fans before the game started.
After that, he chugged a beer, much to the delight of every fan located in the building.
It seems as if the beer chug from Edelman had quite an effect over the bruins as well.
Bruce Cassidy, the Bruins coach said, “Julian Edelman chugging a beer for the team was awesome. It got everyone fired up real good including us. Good for him. We are going to return the favor sometime down the road.”
