Nick Foles; Philadelphia Eagles quarterback to enter free agency

Nick Foles the quarterback of the NFL team Philadelphia Eagles is going to get his chance for entering the free agency as per the latest statement from the executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman.

Roseman also said that the team is not going to franchise tag Foles which also rules out their possibility of trading him up. With the end of 2018 season, the team placed an option of 20 million dollars 2019 contract fro Foles which he disagreed by paying 2 million dollars.

Roseman said to reporters earlier this week, “After a lot of conversation, we think that it is best that we let him go and become the free agent. He is a great player, someone who is Super Bowl MVP. He is someone we think is in the league top, 15 quarterbacks. We were very lucky to have him and now we wish him all the best for the future. He deserves his opportunity to lead a team. It’s his decision to lead a team and another locker room and we feel that at this point in time, it is the right decision.”

Foles joined the Philadelphia Eagles back in 2012 as a third-round pickup draft and led the team for the Super Bowl LII title along with winning the MVP award with his three passing TDs and one receiving TD when they won over the New England Patriots by 41-33.

As the 30 years old Foles look for a new team by being a free agent, Eagles are going to look for a compensatory draft pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
