Oleksandr Usyk’s conveyed the threatening words via his team on to Antony Joshua that he is “Looking for the heart of the king”.
At the moment Usyk is currently in between negotiations for defending his four belts against a match in November between him and Tony Bellew in UK. However he has made it clear that his long time target in the division has always been Anthony Joshua.
Fans are lit with anticipation as who is going to defend his title in the fight against Povetkin. Is it going to be Usyk or is it going to Joshua or can it be Bellew. All of these competitors are now stable mates for the Ukrainian who himself has recently signed a deal with Eddie Hearn’s Match room.
Alexander Krassyuk of K2 Promotions; the man working alongside Usyk’s Math room told media that, “Once Usyk starts his journey in this elite division he is going to look of the heart of the king. The king of this division is Anthony Joshua. I am anticipating that the fight between Usyk and Joshua is going to be something very extraordinary for the modern day boxing.”
Usyk and Joshua were both able to won the Olympic Gold Medals at the London 2012 Games. Ukrainian was able to won the medal in the heavyweight division while the representative for team GB won at Super Heavyweight division.
Bellew the former WBC Cruiserweight Campion has already made it up in the heavyweight division by beating David Haye twice. However he is planning to step down to challenge Usyk for his four belts.
