Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb won their 1st legs games of Champions League playoff

Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb were magnificent in their return to the late group stage of the Champions League playoffs first leg by winning their matches on Wednesday.

Olympiakos was able to score 3 goals later in the game to beat their Russian opponents; Krasnodar by 4-0 while Dinamo was able to score two goals early on tow in the game against Rosenborg by 2-0.

The only team to not win their first leg playoff game was Young boys as they needed a penalty on the 76th minute of the game against Red Star Belgrade to score their 2nd goal which only tied the game at 2-2.

Red Star, the team which is playing their 7th qualifying game is hoping their best to reach the first round of group stages qualifiers for back-to-back seasons.

Olympiakos, before playing their first game against Krasnodar which founded back in 2008, played 18 of their Champions League campaign more than a decade ago.

The 1991 champions of European Cup; Red Star was able to trail by the 7th minute goal from Young Boys’ Roger Assale. The team was able to level the score with a goal in the 18th minute by their Australian defender named Milos Degenek with his looping header shot.

The Serbian champions were put ahead in the second half’s 2nd minute by Mateo Garcia but Hourau came off the bench to level the score again. 35 years old went in to win the game for the Swiss champion by his header shot in the 89th minute.
