Paulie Malignaggi has recently shared the picture of his broken hand after his bare-knuckle fight defeat against Artem Lobov.

Paulie Malignaggi, the former two-weight champion of the world came out of his retirement to fight on Saturday night in a modified rule set fight against Artem Lobov without gloves. He was unfortunately defeated by Lobov on the decision.

Paulie Malignaggi has suffered many injuries on his hands during his 16 years long career as a fighter which ended back in 2017 before going in for another bare-knuckle fight.

Paulie Malignaggi wrote on his social media account as follows,

“Despite my brittle hands (four surgeries on my right hand) I have been able to accomplish more as mainly a one-handed fighter than most fighters accomplish with two hands,” he posted on social media. After two rounds Saturday night I sat in my corner now knowing I would be a one-handed fighter for the remainder of this fight and I am proud I continued on and showed myself I still had a willingness to dig deep when faced with adversity.”

When he was asked if he would be coming to the ring for more fights, he said, “I am done. I’m 38-years-old. I’m too old to start campaigning off of a loss.”
