In the chaotic heavyweight fight between David Price and Kash Ali on Saturday night, Price gets a victory after Kash Ali gets disqualified for biting.
Price who was ahead on the scoring cards made short work of his former sparring partner. After price rocked Ali with his bight right punch in the 5yth round, Ali hauled him down to the ground and bit him.
Mike Lyson, the referee of the fight who earlier had docked one point from Ali for striking the back of Price’s head, had seen enough of Ali’s behavior and disqualified him. Price, prior to disqualification also had accused Ali of biting him in another incident.
The cagey fight saw Price dominating the first round with his long jabs as Ali did have some shots targeting his opponent’s body.
Ali continued the 2nd round with body shots while trying to keep out of the tall man’s reach.
Ali’s nose was bloodied in the 3rd round as Price started to throw bigger punches. However, Price had to stop in the middle of the round and complained to the referee that Ali had bitten him. Ali already had 1 point penalized in the round for hitting the back of his opponent’s head.
Coming in the 4th round, Ali started using his head, shoulders, and elbows to defend but Price hurt his opponent with his huge uppercut.
Price, continuing his assault and punishment over Ali for using rough house tactics in the fight connected a right-hand punch.
Ali responded to this punch by holding on to Price and throwing him on to the canvas and then biting Price’s body to get the disqualification.
Price later said, “He gave it away in the press conference earlier that he is going to lose his head. He was in the fight. He ruined it himself. I am also not very pleased with my performance.”
