The owner of the New England Patriots, NFL team; Robert Kraft says that the Patriots will do everything in their power to entice Tom Brady to sign a new deal with the franchise this year.
Brady who previously indicated that he is willing to play until he is 45 years old is now contracted for one more year. He will be playing for the Patriots in the forthcoming 2019 season for the Patriots once again.
41 years old NFL player is going to make his ninth appearance for the Super Bowl. If the Patriots win the Super Bowl game against the Los Angles Rams this Sunday, he will be the only player in the NFL history to have won six Super Bowl rings.
Kraft told media, “For the last three years, our team has gone to Super Bowl under his leadership. We have gone in the Super Bowl four of the last five years and now people start speaking about his age. We would be kind of silly not to do everything to keep him on our side and keep it going and that is exactly what we are going to do.”
He further said to media about Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick and Brady’s ninth Super Bowl partnership, “they were the ‘Greatest Show On Turf’ as they won the Super Bowl year before. Of course in the Super Bowl 01 after the 9/11, our team represented the country in many ways; at least we think it like that. We are not the best team in terms of skill set but we are the best team when it comes to coming together. I think we did come together like our country did after 9/11.”
