Robinson Cano injures his leg while hustling down the first baseline during Mets VS Nationals game

Robinson Cano is suffering from a conundrum, if he does not hustle he gets dammed and if he hustles he gets damned.

Following two days after being called out by Mets’ manager Mickey Callaway for not running out of the pair of ground balls now on Wednesday game of Mets VS Nationals, he was forced to exit out of the game after ran a ground ball.

This particular play happened during the third innings when Caro after hitting a routine grounder.

He started running from the batter’s box and halfway through, he felt that something was not right but still completed the run.

As a result of being injuring his leg, Cano was not able to take the 4th inning and was replaced by Aideny Hechavarria for her 2nd base.

According to Mets, he was removed from the game after feeling tightness in his quad and his status is currently day-to-day.
