Saeideh Aletaha, the armature MMA fighter dies at age 26 following injuries during a bout

An amateur MM fighter named Saeideh Aletaha ha died after she could not live through from the injuries she suffered during a fight.

26 year sold Saeideh Aletaha died on the morning of last Sunday after she collapsed on the ring following her fight at the Fast and Furious Series 19 held at the Southampton’s Central Hall.

As per media sources, Saeideh Aletaha was rushed immediately to the Southampton General Hospital after sustaining the head injuries which caused her to collapsed during her bout. An investigation has been launched by the Hampshire Police to look into this matter.

The Exile Gym located in Southampton which is the home gym for Saeideh Aletaha also posted a post on their Facebook account in which they stated about the loss of their friend.

A part of the post read as follows, “Saeideh Aletaha was a lovely character with a beautiful soul. Her dedication to the sport was 110% traveling miles every day just to train. She found her place with us just a few months ago but has become apart of the family and will be sorely missed.”

A statement from the promotion, Fast and Furious Fight Series was also released over Facebook which reads as follows.

A local newspaper in the area got the Hampshire Police’s statement which reads as “We were called shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17 by colleagues at Southampton General Hospital informing us of a woman who was being treated in hospital for a life-threatening brain injury. The woman, aged 26, died in hospital later that day. Inquiries into exactly what happened are ongoing. Next of kin have been informed.”
