The game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Green bay packers ended with a dominant 37-8 win for the 49ers. The defense of the 49ers was able to hold off Aaron Rodgers of the Packers to allow him for making only 104 passing yards along with sacking him 5 times.
With this win, the San Francisco 49ers have managed to solidify their spot on the NFC with their current record of 10-1 on the season whereas packers are on their way back home with a record of 8-3.
Jimmy Garoppolo of the San Francisco 49ers made 253 throwing yards along with 2 TDs for his 20 passing attempts as he completed 14 of these passes.
On the other hand, the QB for the Packers Rodgers only completed 20 of his 30 passes along with 1 TD as he posted the lowest scoring yards for any art of his career along with having his career’s worst yardage in which he was not injured. He was pulled away from the game during the final 5 minutes.
San Francisco 49ers entered this game with their best defense of the NFC division as they dominated the game from the very start. Rogers got sacked by Fred Warner of 49ers on the opening possession of the game whereas Tevin Coleman pounded the ball on the next play.
Near the first half, 49ers already had a lead of 13-0 before Garoppolo made a hit to Deebo Samuel for the 42-yard TD. The third field goal was made by 49ers Chase McLaughlin for 48 yards to end the first half at 23-0.
Up next for the San Francisco 49ers are many road games with two of the Super Bowl contending teams as they start Week 13 first with the Baltimore Ravens who are 8-2 on the season. Then they will have a bye week to next face the New Orleans Saints who are 9-2 on the season.
As for the Green Bay Packers, this loss ended their 4-game winning streak and next they will also have road games. First, they will play at the Met Life Stadium against the New York Jets, who are 2-9 on the season next Sunday. Then they will come back home to play against the Washington Redskins, who are 2-9 on the season.
