Sancho maintains Dortmund lead to beat Cologne by 3-1

Jordan Sancho scored one goal and then another one to maintain the lead of Borussia Dortmund to also maintain their winning lead in the Bundesliga against Cologne to beat them by 3-1 on Friday.

Dortmund was also 1 goal down behind Augsburg in their opening game to win them over by 5-0 last weekend.

As for the 19 years old player of Dortmund; Sancho, he has become the youngest player of the league to have scored 15 goals after caballing pout a goal strike from Dominick Drexler during the 29th minute and then in the 70th minute. The ball was stolen by Pac Alcacer who gave the first lead to Dortmund in the 88th minute.

Marco Reus, the coach of Dortmund said, “The key to winning this game was that we remained totally calm. This game also showed us that we are still a long way far from tapping in our full potential.”

The visitors had to struggle for very long in this game until the double substitution players Julian Brandt and Hakimi were able to score a goal in the 62nd minute of the game.

As for Cologne, they were in their first game back home in the Bundesliga after getting the promotion of being the 2nd division champions.

But their performance has been in slumps as prior to this loss, they lost their opening game against Wolfsburg by 2-1 on last weekend. Still, in that game, they were applauded by the fans after the final whistle was blown.

As for Bayern Munich, the defending champions of the league, they are to play a game against Hertha Berlin on Saturday at Schalke.
