Seahawks sign Mychal Kendricks who is at risk of facing jail time for insider trading

Seattle Seahawks announced it officially that they have signed the veteran linebacker Mychal Kendricks.

The news was confirmed by franchise officials on Friday. Kendricks place on the 53-man roster was made by waiving off the injured Jermaine Grace. Kendricks has made his name by playing for team like Philadelphia Eagles as their starter.

27 years old Kendricks was previously released by Cleveland Browns in August 29018 when police charged Kendricks with Insider Trading.

Kendricks has already pled guilty in front of federal judge and his sentence is scheduled for December. Tin the worst case scenario he can face up to 25 years in prison.

“While Kendricks wait for his sentence, his matter is under review. At the moment he is allowed to participate in other activities as well as play in games” said an NFL spokesperson.

Kendricks has signed a one year deal with Seahawks but he has joined the team after one week of the season. This means that he can be cut lose by team anytime without guaranteed salary.

The defense for Seattle Seahawks will be without KJ Wright as he is still recovering from his knee scope. As for his replacement Shaquem Griffin, a fifth rounder rookie has been struggling with head coach of Seahawks Pete Carroll who says that “he was fooled on couple of thing”.

28 years old Kendricks has admitted in front of a Philadelphia based federal judge that he has swapped cash, NFL tickets and passes to parties in return for non-public market shifting information from a Wall Street associate.

According to sources, Kendricks made a total of 1.2 million dollars in profit from this trading in past two years. The information was provided to him by a former Goldman Sachs’ analyst.
