Sydney Sixers secured their place in the Big Bash League final with a dominant 57-run victory over defending champions Hobart Hurricanes in the Challenger, setting up yet another blockbuster showdown against Perth Scorchers on Sunday.
Asked to bat first, the Sixers produced a commanding batting display, piling up an imposing total of 198 for eight. The innings was anchored by star batter Steve Smith, whose composed and authoritative knock of 65 provided the backbone of the total.
