Stephen Curry’s failed dunk in Game 3 helped Rockets seal win over Warriors

An important part of being a great scorer is having a short memory and an ability to let go of the misses they made in order to focus on next great shots.  Gower, on Saturday night Stephen Curry wished that he could have taken at least one of his botched shots back.

During the closing moments of the Game 3’s overtime played between Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors, Warriors were trailing behind 5 points, Curry managed to broke free of the defense and ran for a bucket.

However, unfortunately, he missed the slam as the ball bounced in front of him off the rim.

James harden controlled the rebound and Warriors opted to not call for a foul as Rockets dribbled the ball for the final 20 seconds of the game. Ultimately Rockets won the game 3 by 126-121 giving them 2-1 on the 2nd round playoffs series.

Curry when asked after the game as to What Happened?, he said, “It was pretty self-explanatory. Ii was feeling really good and had a really nice head of steam probably also a little bit of frustration as to how the night went for us. This was certainly not my finest moment.”
