In the fight between Tyson Fury and Otto Wallin, Tyson Fury had to suffer from a bad cut over his eye but he still defeated his opponent valiantly.
Fury, the former world champion was able to win over the fight with a unanimous decision point in the fight that was held at T-Mobile Arena. However, he did have to work through blood and sweat to win the fight after getting staggered during the 3rd round.
With Fury being unbeaten his 30 fights, he is now next in line for his rematch with Deontay Wilder next year in February.
The fight started with both fighters sizing each other up in the early rounds but the trouble for Fury happened when he got a cut on his right eye during the 3rd round. While the referee called the cut to be caused due to a legal punch, Fury got angered and lost his fight composure.
Wallin, sensing the bigger opportunity for a win, became much more aggressive. As for Fury he complained to the referee about the head but from his opponent.
6th round was the one that truly had a scare for Fury fans as he was twice on the clock with off-balance stance and had to whip the blood from his bloodied key every time. He was still able to convince the ringside doctor that he was all right to continue despite his injury.
The 7th rounds aw Fury making big finishes with his 2 big right-hand punches as the round ended in his favor on scorecards.
As for Wallin, he was finally starting to feel the tremendous pressure of his oversized and overweight opponent as he tried to club his way through Fury’s guard. Wallin tried his best to remain in the 9th.
In the 10th round, Fury was in full gear as he unleashed his punches to Wallis’s body and head and caused him to wilt in defense.
Incredibly, Wallin made a final round recovery as he unleashed his own rally of punches to shake Fury and needing for the bell to ring.
The fight was scored as 116-112, 117-111, 118-110 by the 3 judges in favor of Fury.
