Warriors win the Game 5 of the NBA Finals by 106-105

Golden State Warriors are not going to let go of their NBA title that easily.

With the star players like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson making shots and Draymond Green swatting, the reigning champions found a way to win the game 5 of the NBA final series.

Curry led the Golden State Warriors with his 31 points while Klay Thompson added in his 26 points to let the Warriors win over Toronto Raptors by 106-105 in the Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday night.

Golden State Warriors also had to suffer the permanent loss of Durant in this game once more. Green said that this is one of the greatest wins for the team in their 5 NBA finals in a row.

Green said, “When you are down by 6 points with only few minutes to elimination and the other team winning the championship, you can throw in the towel. We could have folded tonight but instead we held on. I have said before that I have never seen this team fold and that remains true.”

The Splash Brothers managed to have combine 3-pointers during the closing minutes of the game after Raptors had a 6 points lead.

Thompson said, “Even being down by six points with 3 minutes remaining, we did not panic. We just did what we do.”

As for Raptors, they were led by Kawhi Leonard who scored 26 points but was unable to make the last crucial shot which was sent to Kyle Lowry and then blocked by Green.

The game 6 will now be hosted by Golden State on Thursday night.
