10-man Dortmund routs Hertha in Bundesliga match by 3-2

Jürgen Klinsmann has lost his debut as coach of Hertha Berlin’s coach whereas Bayern Munich was also beaten under Hansi Flick, the interim coach for the team.  As for Leipzig, they moved up to have the top spot in Bundesliga.

Leipzig was able to take advantage of the home loss of Bayern by 2-1 against Bayer Leverkusen which allowed for the Leipzig to move up three points clear of Bayer Munich with their 3-2 win against the last-spot Paderborn in Bundesliga.

Borussia Mönchengladbach is 2 points behind Leipzig and they have a chance to regain their lead of Bundesliga if they win their Sunday home-game against Freiburg.

The tenure of Klinsmann with Hertha started in a home loss against the 10-man Dortmund by 2-1. With this win, Dortmund was able to lessen the pressure from the shoulders of their coach named Lucien Favre.

The Dortmund players, Jadon Sancho and Thorgan Hazard scored goals respectively early in the 1st half to ensure the team’s 1st win In their last 4 games across all other soccer competitions.

Klinsmann, who is the coach formerly for United States, Germany, and Bayern Munich; was called to be the coach of Hertha this Wednesday as he replaced former coach named Ante Covic. However, he suffered again the loss in his 5th separate coaching debut for a team in a 5th league.

Klinsmann said of the loss, “it is really annoying but we still took one point.  Overall, I am satisfied with my team’s performance. They have all that they had for the game.”

There are expectations that Klinsmann will take Hertha to be one of the biggest clubs in Germany as the club gets a massive 250 million dollars investment from their new backers named Lars Windhorst.

But fans were not happy about this coaching change as they protested with a banner criticizing club’s GM named. The banner for protest read, “10 years, 12 coaches, one responsible!”
