In a title defense fight for the IBF World Super Featherweight belt between Teven Farmer rand Guillaume Frenois, Farmer won on points to retain his belt at the fight held at College Park Center located in Arlington, Texas.
The farmer said after the fight, “I want to fight all the world champions out there. Berchelt, Jamel Herring, Gervonta Davis. But if I cannot fight these guys then give me a fight with Joseph Diaz.”
Famer showed off his astonishing hand speed for the opening round as he flicked out his right jab and caught his opponent in the first round by left hand.
As for Frenois, he was fighting behind a tight guard and was able to land in a hook during the 2nd round but let his hands go in the 3rd. The farmer did not panicked and used his speedy body movements to evade the opponent’s shots.
Farmer was able to catch the French opponent with a low blow during the 6th but after getting cornered by the Frenchman, he had to rely on his defensive skills.
Farmer took the fight in overdrive by changing his stance in the 7th as he landed multiple shots on both body and head of his opponent.
29 years old fighter controlled the fight with his strong jab but was shortly docked a point in the tenth for a low blow.
Frenois upped the effort in the last 2 rounds but was not able to land any clean shots on Farmer that led for a way for Framer to win by scores of 119-108, 116-11, and 116-11.
