LA Clippers beat Mavs by 114-99 5- game winning streak

The pair of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George for the LA Clippers gave the duo of Europe playing for the Dallas Mavericks in the game between two possible contenders for the Western Conference.

Paul George scored 17 of his 26 points during the first quarter while Kawhi Leonard scored 28 points to lead LA Clippers 114-99 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night. With this win, LA Clippers are now on a 5-game winning streak.

LA Clippers made use of many defenders in order to break the franchise winning streak made by Luka Doncic for 4 games with 30 points and 10 assists per game. The 20 years old Phenom from Europe was held dead in his shooting performance as he could only score 22 points along with 6 assists and 8 rebounds.

As for the 7 foot and 3 inches tall Kristaps Porzingis from Slovenia, he too was held in his attempt to score the baskets. Paul George from Clippers’ side was able to have his career-high of 6 steals to hold Mavericks for a below 100-point loss for the first time in this season.

Porzingis, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds sad of LA Clippers’ performance, “It seemed like they were trying to win a championship game. They played as if this was a playoff game the played really aggressively and they showed what we need to learn and how to play in these games. We must bring the same kind of intensity to the game.”

In other amazing performances of the LA Clippers in this game, Montrezl Harrell scored 12 points whereas Leonard had his team-high of 8 rebounds while Lou Williams added his 6 assists and 6 rebounds.

For the Luka Doncic of Mavs, this was his 3rd game in a row where he could not score a triple-double.

Up ext, LA Clippers will have a 2nd road game against Memphis Grizzlies on Friday whereas Mavs will take on Phoenix Suns on Friday.
