Boston Red Sox reach to the World Series after defeating Houston Astros

Boston Red Sox were able to make it to the World Series after defeating their defending champion Houston Astros. Red Sox defeated Astros in the Game 5 of the ALCS (American League Championship Series) by 4-1.

J.D. Martinez and Rafael Devers both clubbed home runs whereas David Price made six scoreless innings. In the end, Red Sox were able to claim the four final games of the series.

Justin Vreeland; ace of the Astros was bested by Red Sox by 1-1 that secured their first AL in five years. Jackie Bradley Jr. has been selected as the most Valuable player of the ALCS’s Game 5 despite going 0 for 3. He only went 3-15 in the series. He drove ina total of nine runs in the ALCS.

Astros were further frustrated after a disputed call against them in the Game 4. Jose Altuve made a two run home run which was ruled out after a dubious fan’s interference.

22 years old Denver of the Red Sox managed to send the pitch into the left Crawford boxes which extended the Red Sox lead to 4-0.

Craig Kimbrel of the Red Sox worked in the ninth innings and earned his fifth save of the postseason and his third for the ALCS.
