LeBron James might not be voting in the Texas Senate elections but he sure has made it clear as to who he is really supporting. He did so by making an appearance to the San Antonio Arena while wearing a Beto O’Rourke hat. He made his appearance while wearing the Beto O’Rourke hat on Saturday morning at the AT&T Center located in San Antonio. This shows his support for the Texas Democrat who is up against the Republican Senator Ted Cruz.
James showed his support to O’Rourke in a video by saying that his ‘words are thoughtful” in response to the viral video of the NFL players protest for racial injustice. LeBron called O’Rourke video as a must watch.
LeBron has also irked President Donald Trump when back in August LeBron commented on Trump’s recent actions in a CNN interview by saying that “Trump is trying to divide us by using sports”.
Trump also responded to this interview of LeBron and pointing out to the CNN’s Don Lemon by saying, “he made LeBron look smart, this is not an easy thing to do”.
