Minnesota Timberwolves 112-96 Portland Trail Blazers; 3rd straight defeat for the Blazers since Butler trade

On the Friday night game of basketball against Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Portland Trail Blazers, Timberwolves came out victorious by 112-96. This is the third straight win for the Timberwolves against Blazers after they traded off Butler.

Andrew Wiggins of the Timberwolves scored 23 points and Derek Rose added in 17 points.

Karl-Anthony Towns of the Timberwolves talked to media and said, “It was great to see Garnett. I had a long conversation with him to get him to come and we played really well. All he wants for Minnesota is to succeed.”

With this win, Timberwolves are 7-1 for the home games this season and 3-0 after they traded off the disgruntled Butler to Philadelphia on Monday.
