Houston Rockets parting ways with Carmelo Anthony; the 10-time All-Star

The time of Carmelo Anthony with Houston Rockets came to an end.

Daryl Morey; the general manager for the Houston Rockets told media on Thursday morning that, “Carmelo performed very well and best to his ability for every ole at Houston which the head coach Mike D’Antoni gave him. The fit we have long sought for when Anthony first signed with Rockets has not materialized and that is why we think that its best that we move on or any other result would not be great for him”.

Anthony has only played 10 games with Rockets since he signed with them for a one year contract deal of worth 2.4 million dollars during offseason.

Anthony was traded to Atlanta Hawks in July from Oklahoma City Thunder. However, he was later released by Hawks making way for Rockets to sign him.
