On Wednesday, Arizona Cardinals released their cornerbacks; Dontae Johnson and Quinten Rollins as well as their linebacker Jonathan Anderson.
Undrafted rookie cornerbacks like Deatrick Nicholas and Chris Jones have also been sidelined form the practice squad whereas cornerback Jonathan Moxey was signed in the practice squad.
This year’s season has been one massive loss for Donate Johnson was signed on by the team on November 27th but was never once able to play a game for the Cardinals.
The fifth-year veteran player who played 63 of 64 games in four seasons with San Francisco 49ers only was able to start 16 games in 2017.
During the off-season, he was signed by Seattle Seahawk as a free agent but was later released by the team in late September after suffering from the groin injury.
Later he was signed by Buffalo Bills and played in one game, which ended in Bills, lost to Indianapolis Colts. Bills released him nine days later of signing him.
As for Quentin Rollins, he was signed by Green Bay Packers for three seasons but was waived off by the team after being on injured reserve in September. He was signed by Cardinals on 27th November but never played in any game for them.
Lastly, Anderson also signed with Cardinals last week but now he also has been relived from the team without playing any game.
