Clippers win over Kings by 127-118

On the Wednesday night game of basketball between LA Clippers VS Sacramento Kings, Clipper coach Doc Rivers had little choice left to make when the team quickly lost their 27 point lead.

His only play was to put his five best players back on the floor with three minutes remaining to the game and that’s what resulted in Clippers win.

Rivers after Clippers win over the Kings by 127-118 on Wednesday night said, “I had to do it. My concern at that time was, Can they muster it up out there? My guess was that somebody had taken off their ankle tape. Who knows? One thing is for sure that they were ready to play and the too care of the business as they should”.

Clippers were led by Lou Williams who scored 24 points for the team whereas Montrezl scored 22 points. Clippers reserve was able to win over the Kings even though every Clippers starter reached double figures in this game for the first time in the season. Tobias Harris of the Clipper scored 17 points while Avery Bradley scored 15 points.

As for the Kings, they were led by De’Aaron Fox who scored 19 points and Bogdan Bogdanovic added in his 13 points for the team. As for Buddy Hield of the Kings, he only scored 11 points thus ending his seven-game streak of scoring 20 or more points.

Kings coach Dave Joerger said, “We have got to do a better job defending as we have struggled to defend again. We allowed them to get 71 points in the first half which is too many points. They shot 50 percent and had 14 offensive rebounds which is too high of a number.”

Other players from Clippers side like Danilo Gallinari scored 14 points, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 12 and Boban Marjanovic added in his 11 points for the team. Clippers have now won three of their last four games.

From the Kings side, Iman Shumpert scored 12 points whereas both Nemanja Bjelica and Willie Cauley-Stein added in their 11 points each for the team.

Up next, Sacramento Kings will host a game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday while LA Clippers will play against LA Lakers on Friday.
