Alex Cora; the Boson Red Sox boss hit by beer can on the World Series victory parade

The Boston Red Sox boss; Alex Cora on his team’s World Series victory parade was struck by an empty beer can by a man named Patrick Connolly.

Another 20 years old parade spectator female also suffered a gnash on her nose from another beer can thrown at. The attack also led the team’s winning trophy to be damaged.

The 19 years old Patrick Connolly was arrested for disorderly conduct and assault. The charges were placed after he assaulted Cora who was with his team celebrating their fourth World Series title in the past 15 years.

According to a media source, Connolly did not wanted to hit Cora, who was not hurt badly.

A spokesperson for the Red Sox declined to comment on the incident after saying that although the incident is unfortunate it does not seem intentional.

The spokesperson Zineb Curran said that the trophy can be easily fixed as well.

The victory parade was held on Wednesday morning and started from Fenway Park and wounded back all the way through city streets. Fans numbed in hundreds and thousands and some even were there since the dawn.
