Alex Smith; Washington Redskins Quarterback suffers broken leg in loss to Houston Texans

On the Sunday night game of Washington Redskins vs. Houston Texas; QB Alex Smith of the Redskins was carted off the field after he suffered from a broken leg.

During the third quarter of the game, Alex Smith was sacked by J.J. Watt and Kareem Jackson and his right foot caught under him and bent awkwardly.

He remained on his back on the field until medical staff came and carted him off the field with his foot in a cast.

The team later announced that Smith will not come back to the game and he suffers from both a broken Tibia and Fibula in his right leg.

During his 2018’s season with Redskins, Smith had 2045 passing yards, 10 TDs, and three interceptions. On the Sunday night, he was intercepted twice before he finally got injured.
