Augsburg wins over Hoffenheim by 4-2 to be 10th in Bundesliga; Alavés gets 1-1 draw against Leganés in Spanish League

In the match of Bundesliga between clubs; Augsburg and Hoffenheim, the forward of Augsburg, Florian Niederlechner scored the game-winning goal for leading the team’s 4-1 victory over their opponents. With this win, Augsburg is now standing at 10th rank in the 15th round of Bundesliga.

A tap in was given to Philip Max by Niederlechner during the 11th minute after 3 minutes of which, Robert Skov, and was then fouled for a penalty in the 50th minute., Max then claimed his 2nd goal of the game from the penalty area.

Fredrik Jensen was then set up by Niederlechner in the 56th minute to make the score 3-1 for Augsburg.

The 2nd goal for Hoffenheim was scored by Jürgen Locadia who was set up for this goal by Skov.

But then Niederlechner came to aid of Augsburg to steal the ball and score another one in the 85th minute.

With this win, the Augsburg now has 6 unbeaten games in Bundesliga.

In the match of Spanish league between Alavés and Leganés, striker of Alavés named Joselu Mato scored his 7th goal of the Spanish League to end the game at 1-1 draw.

With this draw, Alavés have ended their 2-game losing skid as well as are 6 points above of their regulation zone.

For Leganés, they are in second place from the last and are the winless team in the Spanish League.

Leganes was defending better during 2nd half but then Mato finished with a rebound after the Leganes defense failed to clear the corner kick.

Mato, who is the former striker for Real Madrid came back to Spain in the offseason after having limited game time for the previous 2 campaigns with Newcastle in English Premier League.

Mato said, “I am very happy where I am right now. It is very clear that for the last 2 seasons I was not given the chance that I needed to show what I can really do.”
