Australian Open; Alexander Zverev suffers disappointing exit

Alexander Zverev suffered his Grand Slam disappointment during the fourth radon match against Milos Raonic at the Australian Open.

21 years old player defeated back to back Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic for his ATP Finals win in November last year.

However, he was unable to improve his record to reach the quarter-finals after suffered a crushing defeat against the resurging Raonic by 6-1 6-1 7-6 (7-5).

Raonic talking about his defeat said, “I just tried to stay composed. It worked extremely well for me. I played well and did a lot of good things.”

Raonic who lost to Andy Murray back in 2016’s Australian Open will now move into the quarterfinals to play against Lucas Pouille who defeated Borna Coric by 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 7-5 7-6 (7-2).
