Indiana Pacers are sending the message to the rest of the NBA that the basketball team can still win games.
Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with his 23 points as they extended their winning streak to five games as they won over the Cleveland Cavaliers by 105-90 on Saturday night.
As for the bench of Pacers, Darren Collison scored 18 points, Myles Turner had 14 points with 8 rebounds and Domantas Sabonis scored 13 points with 10 rebounds as the Pacers led for the most part of the game with 21 points.
Currently, Indian Pacers stand at the third position in the Eastern Conference standings and Pacers have managed this without their lone All-Star player Victor Oladipo. Oladipo is out of the season with a knee injury he suffered back on January 23rd.
Collison said, “you cannot just depend on one player alone. This is what is making us successful this year. You have got a guy like Cory Joseph who you don’t notice. But he still comes to the game and makes an impact. Same goes for Aaron Holiday and TJ Holiday who has not played but still has an impact. You have got a lot of guys who can impact a game. They are some really underrated players.”
From Pacers side, Joseph scored 10 points with 10 assists and 9 rebounds as he fell only one short for scoring his triple-double. As for Holiday, he scored 4 points in his 14 minutes gameplay whereas Leaf scored 8 points in just 8 minutes gameplay.
The Cleveland Cavaliers were led by Jordan Clarkson who scored 18 points while Larry Nance Jr. scored 16 points with 10 rebounds. Lastly, Collin Sexton scored 16 points for the Cavs.
Up next, Cavs will host a game against the New York Knicks on Monday night while Indian Pacers will host a game against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night.
