Krunic who lost 10 of the 11 games trailed 0-6 and 1-4 before she finally managed to win seven games in a row and eventually defeated her last opponent in a two hours long match by 0-6, 6-4 and 7-6.
While this was happening, Aryna Sabalenka defeated Anett Kontaveit by 6-3 and 6-3 to secure a win of th4e Wuhan Open which is also th4e biggest career win for her.
Belarusian; Aryna was cruising towards her second world title and even faced little trouble from Kontaveit who was not able to display her full tennis skills and ended up losing to go into the final.
As for Tashkent Open held in Uzbekistan, it was won by the Russian Margarita Gasparyan after having successive set wins over the other 17 years old Russian opponent; Anastasia Potapova.
Gasparyan who is currently ranked world no. 299th was able to overcome her doubles partner in just 1 hour and three minutes by 6-2 and 6-1.
