Cleveland Browns 13-29 Houston Texans: Baker Mayfield intercepted three times as the Browns lost

On the Sunday night football game between Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans, Texans came out victorious as they won the game by 29-13 which was their ninth consecutive win this season.

Deshaun Watson threw for a TD pass and the Browns rookie Bakers Mayfield was intercepted three times on the night by Texans.

The Texans who opened the season with 0-3 are now 9-3 on the season. The last lost a match back on September 23rd. Texans took a 23-0 lead until the first halftime which was the courtesy of Browns’ rookie Mayfield’s misfires.

Mayfield was the top overall pick up of this year’s draft played the worst game of his season as he threw for three interceptions. He threw for an improved 397 yard in the second half and also threw a TD pass in the fourth quarter.

FIRST QUARTER

Browns 0-3 Texans: Ka’imi Fairbairn made a 35-yard field goal.

Browns 0-10 Texans: Deshaun Watson made an 11-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Thomas.

SECOND QUARTER

Browns 0-17 Texans: Zach Cunningham made a 38-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Browns 0-20 Texans: Fairbairn made a 42-yard field goal.

Browns 0-23 Texans: Fairbairn made a 48-yard field goal.

THIRD QUARTER

Browns 7-23 Texans: Nick Chubb made a two-yard touchdown run.

Browns 7-26 Texans: Fairbairn made a 53-yard field goal.

FOURTH QUARTER

Browns 7-29 Texans: Fairbairn made a 38-yard field goal.

Browns 13-29 Texans: Baker Mayfield made a 17-yard touchdown pass to Rashard Higgins.
