Corey Crawford leads Chicago Blackhawks win to end 7-game winning streak of Dallas

Corey Crawford and his team Chicago Blackhawks were able to hold on till the end to beat the hottest team right now in the NHL season.

Crawford was able to make a total of 32 saves for his team to allow the Chicago Blackhawks to get their first shutout win by beating Dallas by 3-0. With this Chicago Blackhawks have ended the 7-game win streak of the Dallas Stars.

The three goals from Chicago Blackhawks were made by Brandon Saad, Patrick Kane, and Connor Murphy respectively. This was a great win for the Chicago Blackhawks as they previously lost to Dallas back on last week by 2-1 and now with this win, they have ended their 3-game losing skid. The key contributor to the Chicago Blackhawks’ win was Crawford who was sharp on stopping any attempt made by Dallas’ players to score a goal.

Jeremy Colliton, the coach of the Chicago Blackhawks said, “This is a big win for the team.  They are a really good team. For us to get three out of 4 points is a really good thing.  We gave up too much during the transition but Crawford helped the guys with his saves and we were able to make some plays and take the lead, which was nice also.”

For the Dallas Stars, this was their first regulation loss to Chicago Blackhawks since 26th October when they ended the 12-game point streak for the Dallas Stars. As for this 7-game winning streak of Dallas, it was a tie with their franchise-record and is something they have achieved only 5 times in the past season of NHL since entering the league back in 1967. At that time, they were called Minnesota North Stars.
