Curry led Warriors win over Wolves by 117-107, to be the 1st in Western Conference

Golden State Warrior’s latest loss to the last-place Phoenix Suns reminded them that they need a lot of work if they want to win their 4th NBA championship in the last 5 years.

The Warriors managed to prove them as the best with 3-1 road trip record as they finished Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.

Stephen Curry took the lead of Warriors with his 36 points, 22 of which he scored in the 3rd quarter. As for Klay Thompson, he added in his 28 points to give warriors a good enough boost to win over the Minnesota Timberwolves by 117-107.

With this win, Warriors have now once more regained their position of being No. 1 in the Western Conference.

Thompson said, “If we can maintain this play until the playoffs come, we are guaranteed to have the first seed in the tournament.”

Warriors in this game finished with 39 assists on 44 field goals. They also finished with 19 of 42 3-pointer shots. With this win, they have now won 20 of their last 25 games on road.

Curry said, “To be honest, some possessions were a lot of over passing. However, against the teams that like to take away the first option by putting pressure on you, this is the best way to play against them.”

Other players of Warriors like Jonas Jerebko scored 18 points, while Kevin Durant added in his 17 points with Drummond Green scoring 10 rebounds and 9 assists for the team. Warriors are now 48-22 on the regular season.

As for Minnesota Timberwolves, they were led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 26 points along with 21 rebounds. S for Andrew Wiggins, he added in his 20 points along with 6 assists while Josh Okogie added in his 19 points for the team.

Up next, warriors will host a game against the Indiana Pacers while Timberwolves will be playing against the Charlotte Hornets.
