Damian Jones; Golden State Warriors Center player undergoes surgery for torn pectoral

The center player of the Golden State Warriors, Damian Jones underwent a surgery for his left torn pectoral muscle.

Golden State Warriors announced the news on Friday stating that Jones underwent the surgery on Wednesday n Chicago. The surgery was performed by Dr. Benjamin Domb and is expected to be in his rehabilitation process in six weeks.

Jones is a third-year pro out f the Vanderbilt who was the starter for the two times defending champion team. He got injured on Saturday in a game against the Detroit Pistons.

22 years old Jones, in his past 22 games averaged in 5.4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 17.1 minutes. Golden State Warriors currently have an opening at the center due to offseason departures of JaVale McGee, Zaza Pachulia, and David West.
