Nets end their 8-game skid by defeating Raptors in OT by 106-105

For the past 3 and half years now, Toronto Raptors have always found a way to defeat the Brooklyn Nets. However this time now one but two chances did not fail for Nets.

Leonard said, “This is just how the game goes sometimes”.

On the Friday night game of basketball between Toronto Raptor vs. Brooklyn Nets, Nets were able to end their 8-game losing streak against Raptors’ by 106-105 in the overtime. Nets were able to win against Raptors for the first time since April 3rd, 2015.

Nets were led by D’Angelo Russell who scored 29 points for the team.

Russell said to media that “Needed that. Really did. It was tough. We were aware as to what we had to do to get this win. So now we just have to keep going”.

From Raptors’ side, Kawhi Leonard scores 32 points but Raptors were not able to win the game after VanVleet missed his chance to land the 3 pointer shot.

Nets in the past lost to Raptors by single digits which also includes missing out on 3 two-points.

Jonas Valanciunas of the Raptors scored 24 points.

Up next, Toronto Raptors will host a game against Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night whereas Brooklyn Nets will visit for the game against New York Knicks.
