Detroit Lions wins against New England Patriots by 10-26

Detroit Lions were able to make a 100 yard rusher for the first time since past 71 games. Lions were able to push past the New England Patriots in the Sunday night game to win their first victory of the season.

Kerryon Johnson; the rookie running back of the Lions was able to make 101 rushing yards with 16 carries. He became the first player since Reggie Bush to have reached that mark for the lions. Reggie was able to run for 117 yards for Detroit Lion in 2013 game against Green bay Packers.

Lions seemed to have drastically improved since their last two defeats of the season under the new coach Matt Patricia who has now officially beaten his former boss and mentor Bill Belichick.

On the other hands for Patriots this has been the first occasion since 2012 NFL season when they have lost two out of three games of an NFL season.

First Quarter

Patriots 0-3 Lions: Matt Prater was able to make a 38 yard field goal.

Second Quarter

Patriots 0-10 Lions: Mathew Strafford was able to make a four yard touchdown pass to Kenny Golladay.

Patriots 0-13 Lions: Prater made a 25 yards field goal.

Patriots 3-13 Lions: Stephen Gostowski of Patriots was able to make a 36 yards field goal.

Third Quarter

Patriots 10-13 Lions: Tom Brady made a 10 yards touchdown pass to James White

Patriots 10-20 Lions: Stafford made a 33 yards touchdown pass to Marvin Jones

Fourth quarter

Patriots 10-23 Lions: Prater made a 32 yards field goal

Patriots 10-26 Lions: Prater made another 30 yard field goal
