Eddie Hern told media that Anthony Joshua just wants Deontay Wilder next.
Hearn also admitted to the fact that Jarren Miller and the winner of the Dillian Whyte VS Derek Chisora could also be his next opponents if that does not happen.
Joshua is currently in New York City to watch the Saul Canelo Alvarez VS Rocky Fielding world title fight. He told media that he wants Canelo aka “the Bronze Bomber” for a fight at Wembley on April 13th, 2019.
As for Wilder, he is currently going to have a rematch against his opponent Tyson Fury that has been sanctioned by the WBC after their previous draw in LA for the heavyweight division.
Joshua who is the IBF, WBA and WBO holder has also agreed to this rematch. If Joshua vs. Wilder does not happen, Joshua’s promoter Hearn has a follow up list and Miller is on the top of the list for the next Joshua fight. As for Miller, he is fighting on Saturday at the Madison Square Garden.
Joshua is more likely to cross paths with Miller on Madison Square Garden as they both had a clash back in summer. The two heavyweights had to be split up at the DANZ Launch in New York. Miller has explicitly said that he wants to knock out a Brit next time.
