The long-time leader of the Evian Champion Hyo Joo Kim made some serious errors on the final day of the tournament and Jin Young Ko took advantage of those errors to win her 2nd major title win of the year.
Kim seemed to be on course to relive the glory of winning the Evian Championships back in 2014 as she had a 2-stroke lead with only 6 more holes to play.
However after Ko made a birdie at the 13th to half the points deficit, Kim struggled and made triple bogeys on her next shots to give the lead to Ko.
Ko also made a bride on the 17th hole to gain a 2-point lead over the clubhouse leaders named Jennifer Kupcho and Shanshan Feng. She completed with 67 points to win the tournament.
