Fever-Tree Championships at Queen’s Club; Nick Kyrgios to play at event this June

One of the latest big names to have signed up for the Fever-Tree Championships at Queen’s Club starting this Summer in June, Nick Kyrigios has also signed his name.

In the last few days, the energetic Australian claimed his Acapulco tile after defeating big names of the tournament like Rafael Nadal, Stan Wawrinka as well as John Isner and Alexander Zverev.

He is among the list of the participants for the Fever-Tree Championships at Queen’s Club that includes big names like British no. 1 Kyle Edmund, Marin Cilic, and Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Talking about the upcoming event, he said, “I know what I can do as I am feeling very good. I want to show the world what I can do on the grass of Queens and Wimbledon this year. The Fever-Tree Championships at Queen’s Club is one of the greatest events in the world for tennis. My good friend Andy Murray has won 5 of these tournaments in the past, which is enough to say about the importance of this tournament. The courts there are perfect which exactly suit my game. If I go there and play, it will be perfect training for the upcoming Wimbledon.”

In the last year’s Fever-Tree Championships at Queen’s Club Kyrgios was on his way to the semifinals after defeating both Murray and Edmund which was his best run at the tournament yet.

The Fever-Tree Championships at Queen’s Club is going to start on June 17th.
