Floyd Mayweather says his New Year Eve bout with Tenshin Nasukawa in Japan is ‘all about the entertainment’

Floyd Mayweather said to media that his bout with Japanese MMA fighter Tenshin Nasukawa on New Year’s Eve is all about entertainment.

This is going to be an exhibition fight of nine minutes length in which there will be no winner or no loser. Mayweather talked to the media officials at his training base in Las Vegas ahead of his fight as he is looking to try something different.

The fight which is going to be held at the Saitama Prefecture Super Arena will have no judges to overlook the match. Mayweather; the five different world weights champion said that both fighters will not include this match on their fight record.

Mayweather said, “It is all about entertainment. Nine minutes of entertainment. I am in the entertainment business.”

The exhibition fight will have three 3 minutes rounds which will take place at 67 kg with straight boxing rules and eight-ounce boxing gloves.

One spokesperson of Mayweather also said, “This is going to be a full-contact bout but neither will be on boxing or MMA records.”

20 years old Nasukawa is very excited for this match and hopes that his countrymen will get behind this event.

Nasukawa said to media, “there has never been a Japanese fighter who has faced Mayweather in the ring before. I would like to make a big impression and I want to get the whole fight community and the whole country of Japan along with the entire world to be involved in this fight.”

Nasukawa the featherweight kickboxer has a career record of 27-0 with 21 Kos.

As for Mayweather, he has a perfect boxing record of 50-0 with 27 Kos.
